Musk says shareholders approving his $75b pay package
San Francisco | Tesla chief executive Elon Musk says key proposals to restore his nearly $US50 billion ($75 billion) pay package and move the company’s legal headquarters to Texas are currently passing by “wide margins”.
The preliminary results are great news for Tesla and for Mr Musk, who has been waging a campaign for weeks to persuade large institutional investors and the company’s army of retail shareholders to ratify the controversial package, the largest “ever observed in public markets”, according to the Delaware judge who voided it.
