Washington | It’s the airport favoured by members of Congress, lobbyists and other visitors to Washington because of its proximity to the White House and Capitol Hill.

Ronald Reagan National Airport therefore lies in some of the most tightly restricted but also most congested airspace in the country. Surrounded by three military bases and less than a kilometre from the Pentagon, the airport and the skies above it are highly monitored.
