Albanese visits Biden’s home to ‘tackle shared challenges’
Philadelphia | US President Joe Biden and Prime Minister Anthony Albanese discussed the fraught nature of American politics and China’s rise in the Pacific in the first meeting involving a foreign leader at the president’s personal residence in Delaware.
The meeting – lasting 90 minutes and held before the Quad Leaders Summit with the US, Australia, India, and Japan on Saturday (Sunday AEST) – was the last in an official capacity between the two. Mr Biden will not contest the November 5 presidential election.
