London | Prince William has released a short but emotionally charged tribute to the Queen, describing his deep gratitude to her and vowing to support the King “in every way I can”.

His statement came after King Charles III was formally proclaimed as England’s monarch in a highly costumed and stage-managed ceremony, and as crowds teemed at Buckingham Palace both to pay their respects and to celebrate the new regal era.
