If you manage to make your way through the 784 pages of Boris Johnson’s aptly named memoir, Unleashed, there is only one conclusion you can really draw: for a politician, he makes a very good journalist.

His political career, like almost all political careers, ended in failure: defenestrated by his own Conservative Party in mid-2022 just two years after a seismic election victory, having lost the public’s love in light of a series of COVID-19 lockdown misdemeanours.
