Trump demands Zelensky hold elections if he wants peace deal

London | US President Donald Trump signalled there should be elections in Ukraine as part of a peace deal with Russia, a move likely to further isolate President Volodymyr Zelensky.

After almost five hours of top-level talks between the United States and Russia in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, the two sides emerged with a plan to rekindle their relationship and start negotiations to end the war in Ukraine.
