Australian super funds build $29b war chest for UK

London | Australian superannuation funds plan to plough up to £15 billion ($29 billion) into Britain and Europe in the next five years, with IFM Investors and Aware Super making separate pledges to the British government on Monday.

At Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s global investment summit, IFM is announcing a fresh £10 billion allocation to British assets by 2027, while Aware plans to deploy £5.25 billion to the UK and Europe from a new office in London that the $160 billion fund opened last week.
