Arisa Trew charmed the nation with her joyous nonchalance after snatching Olympic gold in skateboarding with a dazzling display that included a McTwist 540, a body variable 540 and a noseblunt revert that judges not only understood but awarded a combined score of 93.18.
“When I saw the score, I was, like, what? That’s crazy,” Trew said afterwards. Indeed.
