Workers threaten strikes as Jokowi drives through labour reforms
Jakarta/Sydney | Indonesian workers are up in arms after President Joko Widodo this week drove through Parliament controversial changes to labour laws aimed at making it easier to do business in south-east Asia's biggest economy.
Unions are furious at what they see as a government sleight of hand and have vowed to bring hundreds of thousands of workers onto the streets in the capital Jakarta and other large cities across Indonesia.
