US consultants caught in China spy backlash

US consulting firms, such as McKinsey, Bain and Boston Consulting Group, have reportedly become caught up in the burgeoning stand-off between the US and China over alleged cyber spying.

US consulting firms, such as McKinsey, Bain & Company and Boston Consulting Group, have reportedly become caught up in the burgeoning stand-off between the United States and China over alleged cyber spying.

The Financial Times reports that China has ordered state-owned enterprises sever ties with US consulting firms over fears they may be spying on behalf of the US government.
