Hanoi | A court in Vietnam handed the death sentence on Thursday to a real estate tycoon for her role in the country’s biggest financial fraud case, state media reported.
Truong My Lan, who rose from a market trader to real estate developer, was found guilty of embezzlement over a 304-trillion-dong ($19.1 billion) fraud.
