Jakarta/Sydney | Divers have recovered human remains and wreckage from the site where an Indonesian jetliner with 50 passengers and 12 crew on board crashed into the sea on Saturday afternoon.

Sriwijaya Air flight SJY 182 lost contact with traffic controllers within minutes after it took off from Jakarta's Soekarno Hatta International Airport at 2.36pm. The passenger flight was bound for Pontianak, the capital of West Kalimantan province on Borneo island.
