Beijing | China’s President Xi Jinping urged global business leaders on Friday to work together to protect supply chains at a meeting with a group of executives, amid simmering world tensions over Donald Trump’s trade war.
The Chinese leader told the group, which included Blackstone chief executive Stephen Schwarzman, Rajesh Subramaniam of FedEx and Bill Winters of Standard Chartered, that foreign business leaders should resist behaviours that “turn back the clock” on history.
