It is no accident China's President Xi Jinping chose the southern city of Shenzhen this week to emphasise the changes coming to the way he manages the world's second-largest economy.
Even by Chinese standards this high-rise megalopolis just across the border from Hong Kong is an impressive symbol of communist China's embrace of capitalism over the past 40 years.
