ANZ, Cardno under fire in Myanmar

Financial services giant ANZ and Brisbane-based infrastructure and services provider Cardno are among foreign companies in Myanmar under increasing pressure to show solidarity with protesters as the junta which seized power almost six weeks ago digs in.

As human rights activists turn up the heat on companies seen to be working with the military, Australian corporations in Myanmar are being urged to take a stand by supporting a statement by concerned businesses in the country.
