Managers at financial services firm Insignia risk their bonuses if they do not come to the office three days a week, as part of changes that forced chief executive Scott Hartley to confront mounting criticism from what he dubbed “an army of keyboard warriors”.
Insignia told hundreds of its team leaders that from July 1 they must achieve at least 60 per cent in-office attendance, up from 40 per cent, if they want to be fully successful in performance and remuneration reviews.
