The woman claiming that she is the late billionaire Paul Ramsay's biological granddaughter is hopeful of gaining his DNA from prior medical procedures to prove her case.

Carlie Ramsay last year sought unsuccessfully to gain a seat on the board of Ramsay Health Care, the $14 billion private hospitals operator that Mr Ramsay founded. Mr Ramsay died in 2014 after suffering a heart attack on his yacht off the coast of the Spanish resort island of Ibiza.
