A sporty kid who went to a technical high school, Boost Juice co-founder Janine Allis had worked more than 30 jobs around the world before starting her first business.

She had been a gym instructor, a “door bitch” for The Chevron when it was a popular nightclub and had various roles in advertising agencies. At 21, she packed up her life in Melbourne and went travelling – she was a camp counsellor in the US, a nanny in France and sold timeshares in Portugal.
