Rising international travel numbers boost tourism sector

Interest in stocks leveraged to the Australian travel industry has accelerated in this year, substantially driven by the depreciation of the Australian dollar against other currencies.
Inbound international travel numbers have been strong. At Sydney Airport international passenger numbers were up 2.8 per cent in June compared with a 1.7 per cent increase in domestic numbers.
