Fertoz reaps benefit of organic agri demand
There has been a double dose of good news for emerging phosphate producer Fertoz in the past two weeks, with the company negotiating agreements with two organic farms in western Canada and on Friday announcing its Wapiti East phosphate tenement in British Columbia had been extended by 44 per cent to 11,100 hectares.
The company’s decision to expand its position in that region was underpinned by results indicating samples from Wapiti East contained high levels of phosphate that could be used as a direct-application organic fertiliser and compared more favourably with similar organic fertilisers.
