WiseTech’s billionaire boss Richard White digs in amid growing scandal
WiseTech Global chief executive Richard White says he has not lost focus on running the logistics software giant and will not stand down amid a growing personal scandal which erupted after his former lover accused him of expecting sex in return for investing in her wellness company.
Mr White, 69, founded the ASX-listed software group and is the company’s largest shareholder. WiseTech’s board, chaired by Richard Dammery, earlier this week said Mr White’s stoush with Linda Rogan was purely a personal matter. More recently, however, the board has considered asking the billionaire businessman to stand aside as chief executive.
