What Jeff Bezos' letter to Amazon shareholders doesn't say is a lesson for Aussie firms

Jeff Bezos, the CEO of Amazon, released his annual letter to shareholders last week. And as the Australian business landscape comes to grips with the rumoured arrival of the $US420 billion ($553 billion) e-commerce giant to these shores, it makes for essential reading.
Perhaps the most striking thing about the letter is not what it says, but what it doesn't say.
