But as Seek.com founder and technology venture capitalist Paul Bassat told The Australian Financial Review and Macquarie Future Forum on technology on Tuesday, very few companies will turn out to be complete winners or complete losers from new technology. In fact, there are many sectors which are not only ripe but desperately in need of digital disruption: ones like age care that need help to face demand that could overwhelm them in future.
