Uber targets car rentals after Carshare failure

Uber has blamed the increasing cost of car ownership for the failure of its Carshare service, which allowed people rent out their vehicles for short-term use.
It confirmed on Thursday it would shut Carshare down on September 12, and focus on car rentals.
