When most people think of interns, they picture young students struggling to survive as they slave away for little or no pay – but that’s not the case for everyone.
While the median household income in the US is around $US53,000 ($59,4000) a year, and about $64,500 in Australia, interns at social media giant Twitter take home an annual salary of $US81,492, according to job and salary review website Glassdoor.
