There was always something strangely comforting about hearing the woman inside Sony’s old WF-1000XM4 earbuds excitedly telling me “Battery: Fully Charged!” whenever I squeezed them into my ears.

I guess it was nice to hear I’d left no stone unturned, no battery uncharged in my quest to lead the most optimal life a human can lead, or something?
