An influx of workers looking for extra income has helped boost jobs marketplace Airtasker’s revenue by 40 per cent to $44.2 million for the fiscal year ended June 30, as well as improve the service it offers customers, chief executive Tim Fung said.

The Sydney-based company told investors it will be cash-flow positive this financial year, after its EBITDA loss narrowed to $8 million in the full year to June 30, compared to an EBITDA loss of $17.1 million the year prior.
