Start-ups say JobKeeper scheme will keep them alive

Technology start-up founders say the government's JobKeeper payments will keep them in business and save many jobs, but fear many early-stage companies won't qualify.

The JobKeeper payments, announced on Monday, will provide a temporary wage subsidy of $1500 a fortnight per worker for six months, to be paid to businesses to prevent staff being sacked, and letting some of those already dismissed be rehired.
