A months-long battle for control of Quickflix , the video streaming and DVD rental company, will reach its crescendo next Thursday when shareholders vote to keep or spill the company’s board of directors.

The proposal, put forward by a group of minority shareholders, would replace three directors, including co-founders Stephen Langsford and Simon Hodge , with a group of so-called US turnaround specialists which aim to significantly shift the company’s strategy.
