Profit predictions propel Prophecy to new heights
Software company Prophecy International's share price bounded ahead 34 per cent yesterday, closing at 47¢ after reaching a trading high of 54.5¢, as it flagged it would post an annual profit this financial year.
Chief executive Ed Reynolds said yesterday preliminary figures indicated a first-half profit of about $1.2 million, compared with a loss of $435,000 in the previous corresponding period, leading to a likely interim dividend payment of 2¢.
