New South Wales can be the home of global technological innovation
Gabrielle UptonNew South Wales has consistently demonstrated a world-leading approach to balancing the COVID-19 health and economic impacts. Few states, let alone nations, have been so successful.
This is no accident – it takes exceptional political leadership and fiscal discipline. First, there was the NSW Government’s $30 billion package of health, business and community supports which helped to cushion COVID-19′s impact. Alongside that, was the rigorous focus on community testing, contact tracing, quarantining and healthcare. And while our $107 billion public infrastructure pipeline sustained tens of thousands of jobs, the COVID-19 focus harnessed new levels of collaboration across the government.
