Microsoft looks to take a byte from Apple with new laptops

Microsoft will launch new models of its popular Surface Pro and Surface Laptop computers later this month or early next month, in a bid to catch up to the performance of their Apple counterparts, according to reports.

The Surface Pro 10 tablet and the Surface Laptop 6 will both come with processors that can match it with their respective iPad Pro and MacBook Pro rivals in terms of speed and, perhaps more importantly, battery life, one report says.
