Megaport chief executive Vincent English resigned suddenly on Tuesday, sending shares in the cloud connectivity provider tumbling 14 per cent as investors questioned whether the heavily shorted tech stock is undergoing a wider management shake-up.
Mr English’s abrupt departure follows that of company secretary Emily McCaffery, who resigned last Friday with immediate effect, and was replaced by former Megaport stalwart Celia Pheasant, who was company secretary between 2014 and 2022.
