IT skills shortage ups pressure on pay

IT workers are expected to demand significant pay increases over the next six to 12 months, after a quarterly survey by Australia’s largest provider of technology contract workers found increased demand but flat pay.

IT workers are expected to demand significant pay increases over the next six to 12 months, after a quarterly survey by Australia’s largest provider of technology contract workers found increased demand but flat pay.

Peoplebank Australia’s quarterly study found that the strong growth recorded in April in the number of jobs available had continued over the past three months, but there was little evidence yet of widespread pay increases.
