Instagram launches new ad revenue sharing for Australian creators
Instagram is launching a new advertising revenue sharing model for Australian content creators that will enable them to make money from the app directly via Instagram TV (IGTV).
The new feature is the first time that the Facebook-owned app has introduced a way of directly remunerating local creators for their online labour, and will be similar to how YouTube sends its top hitmakers monthly cheques from ads that appear on their videos.
