IBM in Cellnet deal Listed IT and telecommunications distributor Cellnet has completed the divestment of its Australian IT operations to IBM. Rival distributor Avnet has offered jobs to a number of Cellnet staff and bought most of Cellnet's IBM inventory. Group CEO Stuart Smith said the Australian move would release about $2 million of working capital over the next two months and have only a negligible impact on group earnings.
