ASX listed ERG Group has been named as the preferred bidder to supply a smartcard ticketing solution for the major transport operator in Wellington and Auckland. ERG will install ticketing equipment on 1100 buses owned by Stagecoach New Zealand. The system will be launched later this year and be expanded in the first half of 2006. Emma Connors
