Prophecy warns of loss
Adelaide software developer Prophecy International warned late on Friday that it was likely to post a $700,000 loss, before tax, in the half year to December 31, significantly higher than the $366,933 loss it reported in fiscal 2004. The company made no comment on the reason for the loss but said that it had $3.6 million in cash. Prophecy, a supplier of financial software, had a 26 per cent fall in sales to $4.8 million in the year to June 30. David Crowe
