Exporter's good year

Software exporter Integrated Research shrugged off the rise in the Australian dollar over the past year to report a 7.8 per cent rise in revenue for the year to June.
Revenue rose to $30.3 million, compared with $28.1 million in 2003. The Sydney company's net profit grew far more, though, as a result of its cost-cutting initiatives in the past year. Net profit quadrupled to $4.5 million from $1.1 million in 2003.
