Information technology services company DWS Advanced Business Solutions will open a business unit focused on cloud computing after buying the assets of a “distressed" specialist services provider.

Melbourne-based DWS on Monday announced the $300,000 acquisition of Taten, which is expected to close tomorrow. The deal includes three staff but not the company’s existing management.
