Computershare has rewarded shareholders with a dividend bump, thanks to last year’s high-performing acquisition and the waves of companies issuing equity to employees through its software, but lower corporate activity still weighs on parts of the business.

On Tuesday evening, the company reported net profit after tax jumped 27 per cent for the half-year ended December 31, coming in at $US92.1 million, compared with $US72.5 million for the same period a year earlier.
