Cohen fires back over iSOFT sale
A US company has made an offer for iSOFT, but the founder of the health software group wants to shop around for a better deal.
The founder and former executive chairman of health software group iSOFT Group , Gary Cohen , has hit back at the company’s key shareholder, Oceania Capital Partners , saying it was unjustly trying to rush through a sale of the company to US outsourcer Computer Sciences Corp.
Mr Cohen told The Australian Financial Review he had been approached by a number of alternative prospective buyers, and was entitled to stop OCP selling its stake while the alternatives were pursued.
