Jobs related to bitcoin surged 82 per cent on Freelancer.com's 25 million-user marketplace last quarter, while the share of Microsoft-related tasks plummeted 41 per cent.
In an analysis of the 482,525 new jobs posted on Freelancer.com in the three months to September 30, 2017, the marketplace also reported a resurgence in 'maker culture' with tasks related to 3D design up 29.1 per cent to 5,677, including requests for 3D modelling of education materials through to designing the New Museum of Art by SANNA in New York.
