Atlassian prospectus reveals US IPO plan

Australian software maker Atlassian has filed initial public offering documents in the United States, revealing annual revenue has surged to $US320 million ($454 million) and its decision to trade under the ticker name, "TEAM", on the Nasdaq stock exchange.

The preliminary prospectus filed on Monday is the first official confirmation that the privately owned Atlassian intends to sell shares to the public and list on the huge American stock market.
