Atlassian paid $284m tax before ATO deal

Atlassian’s Australian entity paid $US186 million ($283.8 million) of tax locally over the past six years on revenues of $US11.2 billion, before reaching an agreement with the Australian Tax office to pay a further $US60.5 million in tax.
Financial documents filed with ASIC showed Atlassian Australia reported a total tax expense of $US316.9 million from FY18 to FY23, while its cash flow statement showed actual payments of $US186 million.
