ACCC warns parents about Apple Airtags’ safety

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has warned parents that Apple AirTags are dangerous for children because they have a small, unsecured battery.

The consumer watchdog said the AirTag’s battery compartment could be accessible to young children, and the lithium coin cell button easily removed, posing a swallowing risk.
