Beleaguered broking house Wilson HTM has been offered a lifeline, but don’t expect the company or its shareholders to latch on to this offer.

Corporate raider Darren Olney-Fraser from Mariner Corp – fresh from an unsuccessful tilt at broking/funds management house Austock – has popped up again. He lobbed an opportunistic 23.33¢ a share offer Wilson’s way yesterday.
