UBS pitches big bonuses to retain MDs; Barrenjoey takes another scalp
Under-siege UBS Australia is seeking to bolt down its top dealmakers with large bonuses that be paid in March next year.
Faced with an unprecedented poaching spree, it is understood UBS Australia co-head Anthony Sweetman, who also runs the firm's investment banking team, has moved to stop the flood of departures with retention payments targeting his top-level dealmakers.
