Sundance, Swift in talks as Karoon weighs debt options

United States-focused shale player Sundance Energy is known for its “drill and flip" strategy, which basically involves drilling to establish a resource, starting some production and then selling the asset.

The ASX-listed Sundance sold non-core acreage in one basin in Colorado for $US116 million ($133.8 million) in May, and, at the same time, added ground in the ­popular Eagle Ford region in southern Texas for an estimated $US60 million.
