Soon-to-be-listed Regal Funds Management is readying an assault on the Australian private credit market, starting with a $200 million-odd fund slated to launch on August 1.

Street Talk can reveal equities shop Regal Funds has kicked off talks with a bunch of family offices to seed the new strategy and hired Goldman Sachs special situations veteran Jacob Poke to spearhead its investment team.
